AFNIX engine

The Afnix writing system is a multi-threaded functional writing system with dynamic symbol bindings that support the object oriented paradigm. The system features a state of the art runtime engine that supports both 32 and 64 bits platforms. The distribution is free and is provided as is in the hope that it will be usefull. It can be used, modified and redistributed by anybody for personal or commercial use.

AFNIX distribution

The Afnix writing system is a comprehensive set of application clients, modules and services. The original distribution contains the core interpreter with additional clients like the compiler, the librarian and the debugger. The distribution contains also a rich set of modules that are dedicated to a particular domains. The basic modules are the standard i/o module, the system module and the networking module. Complex services that extend the modular functionnality are also included in the core distribution.

The AFNIX Writing System, revision 4.0.0 has been released and can be downloaded from here . This is an initial major structural release with minor features. The release contains a complete refactoring of the platform structure now called driver (drv) those first target is Unix (unx). The release also incorporates numerous fixes in the tls service and full support of the tls 1.2. This release is a transition release between 3.X and 4.X.
